Yesterday my school and I had the privilege of going to the Tamaki Estuary to pick up the rubbish left behind from heartless people.

I learnt that glass was made out of sand that was melted. My favourite part was when we were playing on the new and improved playground.

Let's Prevent Littering!

For inquiry we're trying to figure out ways to prevent littering. Some of my groups ideas were to convince the government to make a special day where everyone needs to pick up one rubbish bag of litter lying around their community, but we still need to come up with more ideas to prevent litter, because one day it will kill all of humanity, and plus, if you've watched the news it said that scientist have found microplastics inside humans for the first time.
