Back in the day we didn't have any technology to tell us the weather, we had to tell the weather by looking close at the sky to see what the weather will be.Someone told me two thing to tell the weather without technology 1.that when it rains at night it is going to be a beautiful day tomorrow 2.when the sky is red at sunset and you wake up in  the morning it's going to be a beautiful day. So sometimes you don't need technology for anything.

Back to school!. Welcome back everybody I hope you're ready for school because I am. I'm here to tell you one of my goals for term 3. It's going to be on reading. For my reading goal for this term is to reach a higher level but before I do that I need to understand the text, summerise the story, and be able to know the meaning of a hard or bald word.

Reading

Today I read a book called Catching The Bus In Samoa. It was talking about how a bus in Samoa compares to how to catch a bus in N.Z.In Samoa they have one door but in N.Z we have about three doors.

New Duffy Books!

This is the first Duffy assembly when we get our Duffy books 2017! Today we met a new person and an old person. The old person that we met again was henry, and the new person was Robert(aka the brown wiggle) was funny. His favourite book when he was little was Asterix.

Hello, today my reading group (Percy Jackson) read a cool book called "What's For Pudding". That was the best story I've ever read because it was about food, and it gave my teacher an idea to let us make a Tongan pudding at school!

The Duffy Show!

Fakalofa lahi atu this is the first Duffy show that we had in 2017. I think that this is my best Duffy show ever because they did real life and cool science experiments. Duffy use to be a normal boy but then global girl came to earth and gave him the opportunity to be a superhero. I learned that you need to know how to read because if you don't you might get simple instructions to save the world all mixed up. So read all about it!

When we where learning about Kangaroos I learned all sorts of different facts about them.We found 25 facts in one kangaroo book. I only wrote about 14 facts. My favourite fact is learning that kangaroos have giant feet.

Top 41 Polar Bear Facts

I've learned 41 facts about polar bears but I picked 14 of my favourite facts to share with you.  Miss Misela was reading the facts and we had to  write it on the board. All of the information was from just one book. One of my favourite facts was that they are ten times heavier than us.
