Wood Works

Yesterday at tech I think I almost finished my project because I added the mirror on it but I'm still not sure. Mr Grundy usesd a glasscutter to cut out the shape of the mirror to the perfect size.

After that he put two types of glue on the back of the mirror. We had to wait for it to dry so he put it on the front of our project and put two rubber bands on each end of the mirror to hold it in place.

Wood Tech

Today at Tech I started to work on the wood that Sir gave me. I had to rule the lines where the joints were going to go and then saw through the line and finish it off with chizzling. The wood had to be exactly the same size as the measurements to put the joint in.

My favourite part was chizzling the wood because it was fun but also challenging at the same time. I had to make sure that when I put it in the joint it has to fit perfectly so it wouldn't fall out.

Technology Wood

Today at Tech I have chosen to make a mirror for my mum because, she always needs a mirror for her when she's doing her makeup.

I think this is the best choice because she always loses her small mirrors, but this one will be so atractive she won't even want to lose it.

I will consider smoothing this project and making it more attractive. I will make this more attractive by adding more detail.
