Duffy Books

 

On Tuesday my class and I had to choose three Duffy books from a magazine filled with lots of amazing books! There were 56 books altogether in the magazine. The first book you choose is the one you really want, the second and third book is your back up choices.

The three books I chose were The League Of Super Hero Games, Thor Ragnarok and Behind Enemy Lines. It was a tough decision picking between The League Of Super Hero Games and Thor Ragnarok for being my first book. Out of the three, what would you have picked as your number one?

It was an awesome boxing match between Leroy Hinldey (NZ Boxer) and Adain Walsh (NIR boxer). New Zealand lost by a decision that the judge had made.

I reckon that New Zealand should of won because Leroy landed some pretty clean hits.

Who do you think should of won? New Zealand or Northern Ireland?

Tall Ferns:Women Basketball

It was an  astonishing game against Malaysia. The Tall Ferns took victory in the women basketball with, a score of 86 to 44. These athletic women got over 10 three pointers, isn't that amazing! I reckon I was so amazed because it was my first time watching the Tall Ferns play.

Cybersmart Learning!

This week we had to address five tips on how to become cybersmart. This was an act to show our teachers that we were cybersmart. Our teacher told us to go on the Manaiakalani: Cybersmart Learning. site.The whole class had to write 1 sentence from 5 different sites. I think I proved that I'm cybersmart to the teachers👍😅

Making Tomato Soup With Rice

Today we created tomato soup with rice. It was fun making it with Izayah from St Pius. The ingredients that were required are:

• 1 can of tomato soup
• 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
• 1/4 of a cup of water 
• flour

So if you want to make an organic tomato soup then use the above ingredients. It was yum as I ate and enjoyed its taste and flavour.

Making Sponge Roll

Last week we advanced our way to Tamaki College for tech. We were making sponge roll. It was a bit challenging but we made it, kind of. Only one particular group made sponge roll but the rest of us made sponge cake.The ingredients to make this dish are

• 1/2 a cup of self raising flour
• 1/3  a cup of sugar
• four eggs
• oil

So if you want to make sponge roll or cake these are the ingredients to make it.😁

Who Am I?

Hello my name is Tristan, and I am a year seven student in Room 12, attending my sixth year at Ruapotaka Primary School. I'm an average aged boy with long brown hair. I am Niuean and Samoan. One of my hobbies are sports such as rugby, baseball, touch, ripper tag and basketball. This year I am going to aim for  higher levels in all subjects and be better than before.
