Back To School!

Back to school!. Welcome back everybody I hope you're ready for school because I am. I'm here to tell you one of my goals for term 3. It's going to be on reading. For my reading goal for this term is to reach a higher level but before I do that I need to understand the text, summerise the story, and be able to know the meaning of a hard or bald word.

Skip Off!

The skip off, this was the skip off and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd was Limiteti 1st, Fakaola 2nd and Meana 3rd. Room 10 were counting on me, Fakaola, Mary-Ruth and Liza.

Massive Volcano Erupts In Mexico!

The Popocatepetl volcano in Mexico has erupted, throwing ash, water vapour and gas into the air. The eruption has made a ash cloud that reaches 2,000 metres above the volcanoes crater. That's more than five times the height of the empire state building in New York! A huge crater is created on top of the volcano after the first eruption blows the top of it off. People living nearby has been given advice about how to protect themselves from the ash. There are more than 3,000 volcano's but 14 are considered to be active.

Science!

This is my science experiment from yesterday. We had to watch a video about sound and vibrations, but I made a string phone. I made it with two plastic cups, a string, a sharp pencil and sellotape. First I got the two cups and put sellotape on the bottom outside, then I poked a hole in the middle on the sellotape and when there was a hole big enough for the string to fit. After you made the hole the you take the sellotape of and put the string in the hole and the tie a knot at the end and then pull it tight and talk. WALLAH!

St Kents Sport!

This is our day at st kents. At st kents we played two games with two groups of st kents people.First I played master and I got my first shot against a st kent guy.then he asked if I played a little bit of basketball and I said" yes" so he said" you're pretty good for a ten year old and I said" thanks". After that we went to another place(but we were still with the same group)and played a game of capture the flag and I got to the flag tree times and only got taged with it once. I never got a goal with the flag but I passed it to my teammate Miana and she got two goals out of it.After that me and my group went to another group of st kents and we played bang with them and then we played a game were we had to tangle our arms and try to untangle them. At the end we sang happy birthday to one of our friends.
