Kiwi Can

Today my class and I did some activities with a company called Kiwi Can.

There were two tutors name were Miss Tuia and Mrs Mac, they were explaining what the rules are and how to play the activities. There are only five simple rules(for some of us) and they're respect everyone, listen to the speaker, don't be shy give it a try, put your hand up to ask or answer a qustion and have fun.

We only played three games to play and I only won one of them. and that was a general knowledge one. The last question to win was "What is the name of the ocean that seperates the North and South Island, and I answered Cook Strait.

Extension!

Last week on Thursday I was given an opportunity to join the Extension Group. In Extension Class we were learning how to juggle.

Last week I only learned how to juggle two balls, but this week I finally accomplished the skill of juggling with three balls. I was able to go for about 10-15 seconds before the balls went everywhere.

It was an amusing and a tough experience learning how to juggle, especially with three balls. But my question to you is, do you know to juggle?

Tech

Today at Tech we were practising our painting skills and how to mix the three primary colours to make three secondary colours.

Not to brag, but I was the first one to finish so I was just using my artistic skills to make the best colour ever. Of course I didn't know what the colour was, but it was still admirable of me.

I really think that I improved my painting skills.

Tech!

 At Tech it was a bit different because we had a substitute teacher. It was still fun and amusing as usual. I made a design for a clock I'm thinking of creating. I know that it's not perfect but this one is just for practice.

 The design is from an anime I watch called SEVEN DEADLY SINS. I copied the design but I alternated it slightly.

It was a great experience for me because I'm not that good at drawing.

Cybersmart Learning

When you're doing your blog you must be cautious of the things you are doing, because any kind of mistake could mean anything, which is the same thing with blog commenting.

When you are commenting on other people's blogs you are allowed to do certain things, but there are also things you're not allowed to do, such as being negative.

When you're commenting you are expected to be helpful, encouraging and positive.

⚡Vector Electricity⚡

On Tuesday we had Vector Electricity lessons.

It was fun and interesting because I didn't know most of the things that were explained in the lesson. I really enjoyed the part when she called four people to try and turn a light on by spinning the turbine, and I was one of them. It was a bit like a contest between who can make the light turn on the brightest.

Learning Different Tones At Tech

 Today at tech we were told to draw three dimensional shapes. Next we had to put in a shadow on the dark shaded side. Finally we had to use different coloured pencils and also make a Y shape in the middle. It was really fun learning to draw new things.
